Settling into China

Dear Everyone!

Hi, thanks for all you love and prayers! Well here I am in China. And by the way there are 9 million and one bicycles now!!

Yep I have a very nifty set of wheels complete with trailer in a stylish green with a little orange flag! Man I am gonna be so fit after a couple of years (although I do feel just a tad infantilized!!)

So China is… nice, much greener than I expected! Beijing is busy, although the part we are in is much quieter!! When the smog comes it is hideous!! But it has not been too bad since we have been here, the blue sky days are beautiful and you can see the mountains from our apartment!

Things are going ok, although I have my work cut out for me in the Foundation Stage!

We do have some prayer requests:

Visas to go through quickly and easily.
Mike to get a job!
Finances in the uk.
Me to have the strength and courage to sort out the FS here!!

Thank you so much!
Anyway I love you all dearly!

See you soon!!

Coming Soon

In an effort to keep in touch with friends and family, this blog will feature the highlights of our experience in Beijing, China.

Join us over the next two years as Sarah takes up a job teaching in the British School of Beijing and our two kids, Josie and Hannah settle in as students.

Mike Emeny, author of this blog will be heading out in the coming weeks. Meanwhile Sarah and the kids fly out this Friday.

Stay tuned to find out how they settle in and share pics and stories over the coming months!!

Mike.
